Hello! I’m Enrique. Thanks for stopping by :)
I am an actor of mixed Spanish and Indonesian background. I don’t exactly have a “native” or “mother-tongue” language because I grew up speaking English, Spanish, and Indonesian simultaneously, though I am more than grateful to say that I now speak all three fluently, along with a basic level of French too. I currently live in Los Angeles where I am pursuing my passion for acting with everything I’ve got.
I have taken on lead roles in various independent short films, including Asshole by Hyun Jun Park and Without Fear by Roozbeh Kalbasi (well renowned Iranian editor and producer). While I have played a variety of different characters, my forte is the young, troubled male with a complex inner world. This translates into the secretly insecure high school or college jock, or the confused hero. I suppose my style of acting can resemble elements from Ross Butler or Brad Pitt, though I don’t claim to be those guys.
I was trained at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles where I maintained a 4.0 GPA, not that anybody truly cares about grades in acting school. I currently take improv classes and look to continuously improve in any way I can.
Growing up as a national tennis player in Indonesia, the habits of hard work and dedication are ingrained within my DNA, along with the mindset of doing what only the 1% is doing. This is largely to do with the fact that I grew up with a judo Olympian of a father. I am not myself without meditation, exercise, healthy eating, spending time in the nature, and reading books.
